​LOCATED ON THE EASTERN TIP OF CHIPPEWA COUNTY, IN THE UPPER PENINSULA OF MICHIGAN.

​​On the north end of Malette Park you will find this scenic turnout with a viewing platform overlooking Olmstad Bay and St Mary's River, a picnic table with a charcoal drill, ample parking plus an information booth offering maps and flyers about DeTour and surrounding communities and eastern upper peninsula.  MDR public boat launch is attached to the far end of Malette Park, giving visitors access to endless beach and water fun.
