Haunted trails

Christmas in the Village

This three day event started in 19xx, and is a huge draw to anglers around the mid-west.  Locally sponsored, this tournament is held on the St Mary's the first week in August. Great prizes and bragging rights ...

DeTour Bontanical Gardens is host to this talent event, where local Michigan artists set up booths selling their unique creations.

Oh what fun we have on the first Saturday in December.  From pancake breakfast with Santa, specials at all businesses in town, arts and craft events at community halls, and many patrons mingling along the streets enjoying Chirstmas spirit and decorations.

Festivals & Gatherings

We transform a few loops of our snowshoe trails into a spooky trail, with a goal of frightening our guests.

After a loop around our haunted trail you can gather around a warm bonfire and share a scary story or two.

Join us on the 3rd Saturday in October.

On the first Saturday evening in March, this winter festival provides participants a lantern lit snow shoe trail, a warm bonfire, hot dogs and hot chocolate.

Spook Night &

Celebrating the St. Mary's River which has been the livelihood of our community for over 1000 years.

Held on the first weekend in August each year from 10am to 10pm, you will enjoy food, fun, and music for all ages.  In addition we have special appearances from various specialty boats.

If you're coming to town to enjoy one of our concerts, plays or festivals and need some place to stay, check out our list of  warm and cozy places to rent .
