Upper Peninsula Fishing in DeTour Michigan!
Fishing is one of the main reasons many visitors come to the DeTour Michigan Area.
The perch run in the early spring, with smelt an annual event around the middle of April, and Pike and Walleye opening
in mid May.
The Annual Salmon Derby runs the last Saturday in July through the first Saturday in August! Dozens of prizes are awarded including cash & gifts donated by our local businesses. It's fun & rewarding for anglers of all ages, there is even a kids division.
